Well I must admit that my husband and I purchased Mega-Millions lotto tickets last Friday. Now, that is like throwing money in the trash. I mean you have a 1 in a very large number of actually winning. So, why do we purchase tickets? Would you if you could? The jackpot was $270 million. Wow!! If you took the full cash at one time, you got somewhere between $100 and $160 million. That is a very large sum of money. If I am correct, someone actually won last Friday. Wonder what they will do with that money. In your blog (not answering my blog) this week, tell me what you would do with a million dollars. Be serious! I know that I would give to my church, take a vacation, remodel my house, and probably not be a teacher any more!! :-)
So, no procastination this week, I am blogging on time. Did you know that our blogging routine counts for state credit of having online time in the classroom? All students must have x-amount of hours of online instruction during their high school career. This applies to the ninth graders and younger, not you guys. But I didn't realize that having blogging time would count. Of course, I believe that you should be blogging about certain topics and commenting more to your fellow students. You know, make it educational.
If you can believe it, we have a full week of school this week. Provided that we don't have any snow days. Can you guys come to school every day all day for a week? Just checking!! We have a new photography project this week. Some of you need to get busy taking pictures! Have a fabulous week!

I buy Mega-Millions a lot also. I've yet to win even the small prizes. It's definitely a waste, but it's worth the possibility. I personally prefer the casino.
And just to burst your "full school week" bubble, it doesn't look like we'll have school Tuesday or Wednesday. Although, knowing the weather man, he's probably a lying sack of potatoes.
yeah i agree that buying those is like throwing your money away.
my grandpa did that for like 50 years and he didn't win anything off of those big pots.
they're trying to rip us off!
Umm Mrs. Chambers.. I already blog on other people's blogs. And you were wrong in your prediction we had a snow day hehe. and I wasnt here Monday.. which means i cant come to school for a week :S
And I am definately someone who needs to start taking pictures.
but anyways nice blog.
Lottery tickets are a waste of money. The money people spend thinking that they're going to make a descent amount could be spent on something more useful.
Even when people do win money off of lottery tickets, it's only a few dollars, which puts you right back where you started.
So much for having class on tuesday, you fail. I've bought Mega-Millions once or twice, I don't see much chance in winning. I also have yet to go to a casino that will be sweet.
Yeah the have a nice week really cheered me up honestly i like it. Anyway I avaoid those kind of things (loto). Idk its just that unless you have a devine luck you arn't going to win, I guess it all comes down to a risk vs. reward and for some the risk if worth the chance of a reward and for me its not.
I'd probably buy some scratch offs if I could but I wouldn't make it a routine.
I think the mega millions is overrated but i like scratch offs them or pull tabs because its instant gradification and yes im sorry to report to you that we have a wonderful tuesday off thanx to snow.

Mrs. Chambers, you can't stop being a teacher. Why do we have to be online for a certian amount of time? Thats stupid.
I have very bad luck, so I am pretty sure buying those tickets (for me) is a complete waste.
Dang Mrs. Chambers I don't think we had school yesturday so we didn't have a full week of school. By the way I would buy a mega millions ticket if I could and I would win.
I don't buy mega millions. I can't yet...I don't know if I will or not though when I can. We can't go one week without missing one day of school.
I personally think that the mega million thingy is dumb. But not a full week of school thanks to snow, next will be the fog :)
When I get older I will probably buy a Mega-Millions ticket just to see how i do. But yes it is pretty much a waste of your money. But anyways we obviously can't go to school for a whole week because of this weird weather.
I bought my first scratch off monday and won two dollars, I bought crossword. Scratch offs are fun and for my birthday I think I'm going to Mt. Pleasant with my family.
I guess we can not go to school for a full week!! Sorry!! I dont think that i could waste money gambling!! I could buy to much stuff!!
