As I sit down tonight to come up with an interesting topic, I am taking a look back at my weekend. Which, I am sure, was very lame compared to everyone else's. Friday I went to the Adrian HS football game. I know!! But, my godchild plays and is a senior. I should say he sometimes plays. But on this particular night he attempted his first field goal and made it. I was very glad that I had attended. But, the announcer for the football game announced Sand Creek's score backwards and I went home thinking that we would be celebrating!!
Now on to the topic of this blog...communication. I purchased a new cell phone this weekend. It is rather cool: thin, plays music, video, and actually does answer phone calls. But here is my question, why do we feel that we must ALWAYS carry a phone with us? Must we at all times be connected to someone else? No one really calls me except for my children and I am grateful for the phone for that reason, but I do not carry it with me wherever I go and I truly don't know how to work all of the "extras." (and probably won't ever!!) Do you all have cell phones? Are they with you at this moment? How often do you actual use the phone? Is it of utmost importance that you have the cell phone with you? Who actually calls you? Could you live for five days without that phone?

Well unfourtantly I also had a lame weekend. I didn't even go to a football game. On topic about cell phones, we feel that we must always carry our phones because we have become so used to them to the point they have to be by are side at all times. It can go farther than but we have to type now :(
I dont know how long i could go without my cell phone. I went all weekend without it. I guess it wasnt that bad. I think that I couldnt live for more than like 3-4 days without it.
hey miss chambers, yes i do have a cell phone, and its an addiquate luxery, wow i can't spell but any way as i was saying, i rather enjoy haveing a cell phone, it gives me added security and it gives my parents added security to let me do things knowing that they will be able to get ahold of me at any time. As for who i talk to mostly my girl friend, and sometimes my friends mostly to see if they wanna hang out, and then my parents will give me calls to check up on me if im away for a while
yeah i've realized that i normally have my phone with me when i go somewhere. if i dont have it i feel weird. i normally have my phone so my mom can contact me. if i dont answer or dont have my phone on me i get into a lot of trouble! my family, manda, bryan, and bryans family call me. i probably talk to bryan the most. i have gotten it taken away but it only kills me the first 3 days after that i find a way to talk to the person i want to talk to.
My cell phone just sits in my car all day, i don't take it anywere.
Hey Mrs.Chambers i do have a cell phone and i defiently could not live without it for five days. I always have my phone on me, except in school:( but i feel that i must carry it with me just in case of emergencies or when i just wanna talk.
i dont even have a cell phone cuz i broke mine anyways i worked all weekend and so my weekend was whak too...anyways yup we lost not cool man
Chambdawg! I do have a cell phone. It is usually off though at home. When I'm out somewhere is when I turn it on. That way if my parents need to get a hold of me they can.
I really only use my phone for a limited amount of time, It probably isn't even worth what we pay for it in that sense. To me, it is a security benefit. Knowing that I have a little device with me in an emergency is a reason alone to have it with me at all times. Since the way my life plays out, the moment I don't have it something will happen.
Hey Mrs Chambers I think that i always need my cell because without it i feel unconnected from the world and everyone else and im sure thats what alot of people feel too.
I do have a cell phone, and I do usually carry it with me. I use the phone a lot, to call friends, and to call parents. I like it because I can call my parents if I'm gonna be a little late and not get into trouble. I could live for 5 days without my phone. I wouldn't like it, because I couldn't talk to my friends as often, but I could do it.
Yes I carry my cell phone everywhere but I don't have it with me right now because I am in your class right now. I carry mine incases someone wants to do something or incase I need to get a hold of someone.
I also have a cell phone, i use it quite frequently. The only thing that i do on my phone besides calling people on it is to take pictures with it. I could probably go 5 days without it but they are always handy to have with you i think.

MRS C, people need cell phones. What if they were stranded or like someone was threatening to slaughter your family? CELL PHONE, geeeeeez.
And my cellphone is a bust. T-MOBILE IS NO GOOD!
well.. Mrs. CHAMBERS I havent had a cell phone for about a year.. and it doesent really effect me.. but its funny that I just read this blog cuz im going to get a new cell today.. but as for all of your questions.. I cant really answer them cuz I dont even have a cell phone right now.
I always have my cell phone on me. I dont know what I would do without it. I can't imagine what I would do if I ran out of gas in the middle of the night and didnt have my phone.
No mrs chambers mine was alot worse i finally bought my car and it caught on fire then i got kidnapped and sent to mexico and had to walk back on my hands cuz my feet were too weak from not drinking water for a week
Ive got my phone on me right now and I use it to call friends to see if anything is going on, or to call my mom if i need something or if im going somewhere. Or just in case of emergency. I think i could go without it for a week. But we know as soon as i did i would need it.
I feel like I am missing something when I forget my cell phone. I always seem to forget it on the day that I REALLY need it. I feel like I need it because you never know when people need to reach me, the only people that call me on my cell is Josh, the cheer team and my mom. Maybe Juli or Danielle. I just like having a cell ohone because whenever you need to talk to someone you have a phone right there. I don't think I could live without it because I need to be connected with my friends.
I could definitely go without my phone. I use it no more than 30 minutes a month, and thats overestimating. Although, with my awesome luck with vehicles, as soon as I don't have it I'll blow something up AGAIN.
