I keep forgetting to blog, which I am sure most of you are very happy about. But not today! I am running a bit late this morning (early morning meet at 7:00 a.m.!!), but I think I can still get a short blog in. So, yesterday was Spirit Day events pick. In the answer to this blog, tell me what you have been "chosen" to be a part of. Also, what do you think about this whole Spirit Day thing. Does it really promote a togetherness within the school? Is competition a good thing? I personally, don't understand the whole concept. Good thing I am not in charge :-)
In your blog today, tell me what your plans are for the summer. I know there is going to be a wedding and someone is moving very far away, but what about the rest of you? My plans are to travel a bit. I am headed to Arizona (I hope) to visit my daughter. Who goes to Arizona in the summer...crazy?! I am also taking my parents up north for a tour of the UP every summer. This might be my last :-( I also hope to visit my cottage in the UP at least once. So I guess my plans are to travel a bit. My sister would love for me to visit out east, but I just don't know if I have the time. You have to relax a bit in the summer, don't you?

I am playing Euchre. I don't really like spirit day personally. It's just like field day in the elementary. I think that it is a nice thing to do for fun, but it's just not my thing. More power to the school though.
For spirit wars I'm in volleyball and dogdgeball. I love spirit day. Yeah we are competing against eachother as upper and underclassmen, but we are working together as a class. I think it brings out school spirit in everyone that really has it and wants to show it.
I got picked to do the Punt, Pass and Kick, and i am also doing volleyball. I think that spirit day is a really good idea, it brings the school together and also i dont have to go to class ALL DAY! :)
I chose to do rope pull for my senior class. I love the competion in spirt days. I think it will be fun to do and can't wait. This summer is coming to be ba and can't wait for it.
I'm playing volleyball with Jeff Morris. He is surprising awesome at volleyball. We are definitely going to lose, but I don't care because I just want to have fun.
I am on the softball team, which will be dominant! Also going for the longest drive. Competition is a good thing, got to be #1
I am doing crappy quizbowl, but you know what, its one of the first events, so i just get to sit around for the rest of the day and do nothing! how amazing. I think spirit wars are awesome! because you get out of school, chambers you need to get out and get some fun in your life, go skydiving.
For Spirit Day, I am doing Quiz Bowl, because its about the only thing I knew how to do that wasn't athletic... I haven't played quiz bowl since like 5th grade, but I don't really care, our class isn't going to win anyways.
I think spirit day is a great idea and I'm glad they decided to bring it back. It's nice to have one day where we come to school and don't have to sit in class and be bored out of our minds. For spirit day I am playing b-ball and running the 400 relay, which we will dominate in.
I am doing the 400 Relay with Pawson, Burdine, and Martin. I think it is great, first it pretty much give us a day off of school, and it makes all the lazy bums around this school do something!
For spirit day i chose basketball and floor hockey. One of the things i think spirit day does is to get along with each other and it just gets everyone involved in some kind of activity.
I am not going to be here for spirit day because last November me and my grandpa said I'm going up to Traverse City to help fix this 1969 GTO Judge.
I am doing the rope pull for spirit day. I dont think anyone really gets spirit day they just like the day off of classes.
