We made it to Thursday without a snow day. Very strange indeed! It looks like we just might have a full week of school...the first one since early December. As a teacher I just find all these snow days rather frustrating. I can't seem to get into the groove and get moving on my plans. Do you feel the same way? How do you handle frustration? I usually get a very large headache and clench my teeth! I get a bit short with people and usually just want to be by myself for awhile. You know to get back on course. What types of things frustrate you? My biggest problem these days is when someone asks me to do something and before I can get it done they have asked someone else to do it or asked someone else to tell me about it. Just let me do my job and I will be a happy camper.
In your blog today let me know a few things you would change about your education. DON'T say bad things about Sand Creek, just in general what would you rather have been doing at school. You know, different subjects, different projects, different times, longer hours, shorter hours, more hands-on, more computer classes, etc. Just let me know. I am always curious. But, please don't just tell me that you hate school and that you hate Sand Creek. Believe me, education is education no matter what school you are at it would be basically the same. As is in all of life...it is what you make of it. Make the best of every situation and life will be much better.
Have a great day!!

I don't mind the snow days, but then yet again I am a senior so they don't really matter to me. I deal with frustration probably in a bad way, it just puts me in a bad mood and I get really snappy until everything is figured out, or I get to the point where I get so worked up I cry.
I deal with frustration by going into my room and listening to my music. I hate it when people think they are good at something and you know they really aren't. I would like to change some of the curriculums. Maybe the way some of the teachers teach. Definitely more hands-on learning would help.
Well I can't say that the snow days frustrate me, I pretty much enjoy sleeping in and not having to do anything for days at a time. What does frustrate me though would be when people don't do what they said they were going to do. Or when people cancel on plans.
School also frustrates me, because I'd be much less stressed out if I could just sit at home and sleep.
Well, the way I handle frustration is to sit down and listen or play some music. Its easy to forget about everything when music gets involved.
I dont mind the snow days i would rather be at home doing nothing than coming to school. because i dont get homework sitting at home. Theres not that much that really frustrates me but when i do get frustrated i just get ticked and dont really talk to anyone. Or i just take it out on everyone else..
I don't wanna in the groove I'd rather be at home sleeping personally. I get frustrated when I have to try something a million times before I can get it right.
More computer classes, shorter hours, more hands on, different subjects would be nice. But im a pretty easy person and i dont really get mad/frustrated often.
Yes, its hard to keep on track when we dont have school. The way I handle frustration is I just have to get away from people and just be by myself because if I dont ill take it out on the person nearest to me. There are a lot of things that frustrate me mostly just the way people act and there attitudes toward things.
I hate having all those snow days. I hate not having a set schedule. It throws me off then I get mad. Usually if I get frustrated I either start to cry or hold it back and get snappy with people. Slow drivers frustrate me and rude people.
It really takes alot to make me really frusterated, i am pretty easy going guy. School could have more hands on work, and less reading work...we should have some classes about technology and the future....
