It is hard to believe that Christmas break is in two days. This semester started out SLOW, but has really picked up speed. I can't wait until break. Plus, it just might start a bit early. Looks like bad weather Thursday night into Friday morning. Are we doing the "snow day" dance? :-)
Christmas means a lot of different things to many different people. This year is especially hard! So...my question to you is not what is your favorite present that you have every received, but what is the most memorable present that you GAVE someone. This could be something you did, not necessarily an actual present. This is a tough question. Most of us just like to think about ourselves...me included! I think my favorite gift is when I fill the boxes for A Christmas Child. These boxes are filled with lots of goodies and sent overseas to kids that don't get any presents. They are fun to fill and I get a good feeling as I fill the boxes and wrap them up.
In your own blog this week, please let me know something really cool you plan to do this break. Anything out of the ordinary? How about something cool that you do every year. My break is going to be fantastic because my daughters will be home. They both have moved kind of far away and I am looking forward to having them around.

i think my favorite gifts would be the ones that i used to get with my granny and give to the angel tree. it is pretty exciting to know that you did something good for someone else.
the most memorable present i ever gave someone was to trina, i MADE a hat for her, its absolutly rediculously looking, its got feathers all over it and paint all over it, and lets just say, it has a bad word on the front of it haha.
but it is amazing, and when the top feather falls off, were buring it in her backyard.
Well i think the best present that i will give out will be this years. I bought a really nice Crown white gold necklace with pink diamonds for my girlfriend. This is the longest i have had a GF and it is defenatly going to mean something to me.
My favorite "gift" I've given was last year my church does this thing called project share. We get a semi full of food and things and we box it up and deliever it to people. It was so much fun, plus I felt all warm and fuzzy. :)
When i was little i used to buy gifts for kids off of the angel tree. i felt good because i knew that i was gonna change a little kids life.
The most memorable gift I ever gave someone is I always give a couple of dollars to the salvation army. I also bought a wristband and the money went towards to cancer research.
the best christmas gift I gave someone else was to my uncle who was having some "financial" trouble and I was 7 and i gave my uncle all the money i had which was like $50.
the most rememerable present i got was my leather jacket from my grandfather because i have always wanted one all my life and last year i got one and it was just cool. The best present i gave to someone was a chest that i had made in woodworking class and gave it to my mother and it didn't look the best but it was my first project and she loved it. Over break not doing much just hanging out with friends maybe go to a new years eve party!!!
The most memorbale present i ever gave anyone was this year when all of the kids of the family got together for my mother. It ment a lot to her cuz last year she was in the hospital for christmas.
YAY!!! BREAK!!! Anyway, the best gift I've ever gave anyone was, like, some flowers or something. I really just want to go to my Uncle Jason's house and hang out with him. He told my brother and I we might go to one of the indoor waterparks in Sandusky.
The most memorable thing I did every Christmas was with my grandma Frey. We would make little goodie bags and give them to the elders at the old folks home. I use to love doing that for them because they didnt have people to give them stuff and all 15 of us grandchildren use to hand them out to poeple. We would get assigned to one person and we had to make their bags for them and hand it to them. It was a really nice thing we did for them and it made me feel good because they use to ge the biggest smiles on their faces.
My favorite gift I have given is probably when we had the santa shop in elementary school, I used to love going to that to pick out gifts for my brothers and sisters and my parents and it made me feel good. And now that's what my little sisters do, and I love seeing their faces as they're hoping that I take a liking to the present they got me when i open it.
This year is probably going to be the best christmas ever, because I actually have a job and can afford christmas presants. Sooo... i'm getting my brother a bunch of Star Wars junk, because hes a nerd. I'm getting my sister WebKinz... they're kind of like beanie babies, but you can play games on the internet with them. I'm getting my mom some MOCKS and a red lobster card, because its her fav resturant but she hardly ever eats there because its expensive. I'm getting olivia a bunch of crap that she'll like, but I can't put it on here, because she'll read it. I'm getting her boyfriend a fancy paperweight, because hes always wanted one. i'm not getting my dad or step mom anything, because i hate them.
