So, we start exam week. I suspect that it is a very good week for most students at Sand Creek High School. I find our policy of no exams very disturbing. Of course, you guys do not. But are you truly prepared for a college exam? I think not. For those of you that do plan to go to college, be prepared! There are mid-term exams and final exams. How many of you have actually taken an exam in high school? Even those that have, you aren't really taking a final exam. It is very difficult, if not impossible, to give you an exam that covers the entire semester in only 50 minutes. I hear that the chemistry exam will come close because it is going to be two days! Kudos for Mr. Frasle!!
So, this is a short week, but you guys still have to blog. I am thinking of making blogging 10 points per week next semester to up the entries. You guys couldn't even get the class to blog last week when candy was involved. No keyboarding this week, so you should have time to blog. Give your opinion on exams and our attendance policy. I am always curious to hear from the other side. If you do have five days off next weekend...enjoy! I do not, but that is what it means to be a grownup and I can handle it. Have a great week.

Exams are dumb. Actually just Mr. Frasle's exam...I understand that its required. But its not a required two day exam. That is rediculous. I am really mad about that. I think the policy is good though. I wish I had a five day weekend.
Yeah Chamedawg I have to take two exams this week. In Pre-Calc and in Mr. Frasles two day chemistry one. How dumb. Yeah I have only had to take one other exam and that was in 7th grade in Geography.
Thankfully i dont' have to take exams but i still have to go to co-op and do my job. Which is ok because i like my co-op job. But i'm rather happy about having a 5 day weekend.
I am really relieved that our school does not have to take required exams. I haven't taken one yet. But maybe i should. I think that we should have a few more days to miss. I am tired of wasting my afterschool time for appointments when i have a lot of other things to do.
I definately think that the policy is good, but i do not have to take exams to lucky me. I get a 5 day weekend. I have never had to take exams the whole time i have been in high school.
Im glad that we dont have the policy that most other schools have. I think 3 days is more than enough to miss. I have never had to take exams. This year will be my first. I have to take two, precalc and chem. It will be very difficult because they are right in a row. Im really not excided about having to come back on Thursday to take the stupid part of Mr. Frasle's exam. That is so dumb!!
I'm too happy that I don't have to take any exams. :D I don't know of any other school that goes by absences to exempt all exams.
Thank god I dont have to take exams, because I would be stressed out. But I still have to wake up everyday and work on the yearbook..yay!
Yeah I have to take exams like always. I think i've taken every exam since like 7th grade. Every year too. So i'm pretty sure that's why i'm good at essay stuff and all that crap.
But I think that everyone should have to take the exams to. But it would be nice not to have to do them.
It works every school has there own little twists to help students get by we have our exams madison for example has a prep hour everyother day. But yeah we probably arn't ready for a colledge exam but hey thats why were in high school, its not like any of us are stupid. And thousands of people take those colledge exams a year, i don't think were below average in intellegence i think we will be able to adjust.

Well i don't think that whole exam part is true, because if you really want to be prepared then take them. its your choice. About the blogging, make em like 20 points. that would be nice, then people would do them for sure
I think that exams are ok, but they shouldn't all be in 2 days. It is too stressful, they should space them out more. I am taking 4 exams this week, and I am really stressed aobut having time to study for them all. I like that we don't have to come to school if we don't have to take them.
